Reporting to the ship’s Casino Manager and supervising the subordinate casino positions. Supervising the operations of the cruise ship casino. Responsible for the training of casino staff. Supervising all training programs. The Assistant Casino Manager discusses on daily basis with the Casino Manager the requirements of the day’s activities and timeframes for specific tasks within the shipboard casino venue. Supervising the financial aspects of the cruise ship casino operations. Maintaining a strong observation and control over all casino games, slot machines and casino cage in order to minimize security threats and fraud cases. Building and maintaining relationships with Casino VIP guests. High school diploma is a must. Bachelor’s degree in management, business administration or related field and managerial experience is a plus. Good command of English. Additional languages. Basic computer software required.
Salary: $2500-3200 per month.
Cruise Casino Jobs – Casino Dealer / Croupier
Reporting to the ship’s Casino Manager. Does not have supervisory responsibilities. Conducting various table games- Baccarat, Roulette, Black Jack, Let It Ride, Dice and others. Monitoring all players around the table in order to identify their individual playing style and to avoid cheating. If a suspicious behavior is detected- obliged to notify the management and the ship’s security personnel. Exchanging casino chips and tokens for money, announcing the exchanges and updates. Informing players about the rules, performing the game, announcing winning hands and bets, paysing winning bets and collecting losing bets. Well groomed, presentable, following company guidelines regarding uniform and hygiene. High school diploma is a must. College or university degree is a plus. Minimum one year Casino Dealer experience. Able to differentiate quickly numbers on cards, wheels, dice and determine the outcome of game. Communication skills, good English. Additional languages.
Salary: $1900-2500 per month.
Cruise Casino Jobs – Slot Technician
Maintaining and repairing of cruise ship casino devices and machines, like slot machines, card shuffling, coin-handling, currency changers and others, video games, computerized equipment. Present in the Casino during working hours, walking around the tables and slot machines and providing help to passengers. Monitoring players for improper use of machinery and possible attempts for cheating- reporting to management and security. Responsible for re-filling the slot machines with coins. Collecting bills and coins from the currency exchange machines and making settlements with cashier cage to balance assets. Well groomed, presentable, following company guidelines regarding uniform and hygiene. High school diploma and formal training in repair of a variety of electrical, mechanical and electronic equipment. Previous experience as a Slot Technician in a casino is a plus. Able to count paper money, coins quickly and perform basic math functions. Communication skills and good English. Additional languages and previous cruise ship experience is a plus.
Salary: $2500-2800 per month.
Cruise Casino Jobs – Casino Cashier
Dealing directly with passenger transactions at the casino cage- exchanging cash, coins, casino chips, charging credit cards and shipboard accounts, validating checks in an efficient and friendly manner. Balancing the cash float on daily basis. Declaring non-balances and ensuring that cash float is secured. Operating electronic coin counter or counting chips to determine correct exchange values. Providing passengers with paper currency or coins, paying close attention to passengers needs. Responsible for preparing daily and “end of cruise” reports by counting and recording totals of cash, coins, credit cards, shipboard accounts payments and personal and traveler’s checks. Following casino cage security procedures. Well groomed, presentable, following company guidelines regarding uniform and hygiene. High school diploma. Previous cash handling experience. Able to count fast casino chips, paper money, coins. Proficient with basic computer software. Communication skills and good English. Additional languages and previous cruise ship experience is a plus.
