The highest ranking Medical Services- Medical Officer and a head of the Medical Department aboard the ship. Supervising the work activities of the physician, lead nurse and nurses. Responsible for the basic and emergency medical treatment of the passengers and of the crew members. Dealing with wide range of medical conditions. Diploma from an accredited school of medicine with clinical training or board certification in Emergency Medicine, Family Practice or Internal Medicine. Experience in laboratory and x-ray procedures. Current license, extensive experience with cardiac and primary care, internal and emergency medicine required. Excellent English.
Salary: $5200-7000 per month.
Medical Services – Doctor / Physician
Supervising the lead nurse, nurse practitioners and registered nurses. Responsible for the basic and emergency medical treatment of the crew members and passengers. Dealing with wide range of medical conditions. Diploma from an accredited school of medicine with clinical training or board certification in Emergency Medicine, Family Practice or Internal Medicine. Experience in laboratory and x-ray procedures. Current license, extensive experience with cardiac and primary care, internal and emergency medicine required. Excellent English.
Salary: $4600-6200 per month.
Medical Services – Nurse Practitioner
Providing medical care to passengers and crew members and also performing administrative duties in the Medical Clinic. Responsible for ordering proper medical inventory for the ship’s clinic and involved in first aid training for crew. Being called first in cases of medical emergency. Responsible for maintaining first aid supplies and medications. Diploma from an accredited nursing school and current certification as Nurse Practitioner with relevant experience. Emergency Room and General Practice background is a plus. Experience with cardiac care, trauma, internal medicine and fluent English required.
Salary: $4300-5200 per month.
Medical Services – Chief Nurse
Being in charge of the nursing staff aboard the cruise ship. Responsible for providing appropriate passengers and crew health care, appropriate functioning of the Medical Clinic and supervising the other registered nurses within the Medical Department. Performing control of supplies and medicines, placing orders, arranging storage of stock, billing for medications and services, equipment checks and patient record keeping. Diploma from an accredited nursing school and current certification as Registered Nurse with relevant experience. Emergency Room and General Practice background is a plus. Experience with cardiac care, trauma, internal medicine and fluent English required.
Salary: $3200-4200 per month.
Medical Services – Nurse
Responsible to provide day-to-day health care to passengers and crew. Performing nursing care in a proficient, calm and professional manner during routine work shifts. Nursing intervention for non-urgent patients- ice application, dressings, splints and bandages. Calculating correct drug dosage and assisting the physician with treatments. Checking emergency equipment, maintaining established levels of medical supplies. Diploma from an accredited nursing school and current certification as Registered Nurse with relevant experience. Emergency Room and General Practice background is a plus. Experience with cardiac care, trauma, internal medicine and fluent English required.
Salary: $2500-3800 per month.
